Comprehensive toolchain for measurement, calibration and diagnostics supplemented by recent product developments

Wixom, Mich., USA– 8th June 2017 – Accurate Technologies Inc. (ATI), the leading independent global supplier of control system development tools, will highlight its comprehensive toolchain for measurement, calibration and diagnostics at the 19th Automotive Testing Expo Europe. The company has taken its biggest ever stand for the event (stand 1542), held at Messe Stuttgart, Germany, on 20-22 June 2017.

ATI’s extensive portfolio includes many cutting-edge hardware and software products developed and manufactured in-house, complemented by the distribution of market leading solutions from respected third parties, such as Kvaser, PICOTURN® and ECM.

ATI’s objective is to offer the most comprehensive support possible for automotive development engineers, according to ATI’s Global Marketing and Communications Director, Peter Knivett.

“ATI has an extensive range of in-house competencies but we also recognize the value of partnering with specialists in certain key areas,” he said. “This adds value for our OEM and Tier1 customers and reinforces our ability to provide a single, convenient source for all their measurement, calibration and diagnostics requirements.”

Among ATI’s products at the exhibition will be pre-production versions of the CAN-enabled EMX DAQ modules, scheduled for launch later in 2017. ATI’s CAN enabled EMX brings all the benefits of the existing ICP-driven EMX hardware (best-in-class performance, user flexibility, functionality and cost-per-channel ratio) to a wider potential market. In addition, ATI will preview its forthcoming A8 Ethernet high speed serial interface that enables data acquisition, calibration and flashing through a single interface.

Also on display, launched earlier this year, is ATI VISION 5.0 with a Remote Dashboard feature that allows users to view data or initiate VISION functions wirelessly from a phone or tablet, offering convenient, adaptable, location-independent, safer viewing and interaction with data. In addition to monitoring, the Remote Dashboard is also capable of automating and executing some common functions of the VISION software host environment.

ATI has become a principal distributor for key specialist products that complement its own product range, and several of these will also be exhibited, including the latest generation PICOTURN® PTCM turbo speed sensor. This is IP67-rated for vehicle mounting -including within the engine compartment – and provides a fully digital inductive speed pick-up that is rugged, reliable, cost-effective and easy to use.

As ‘Real World’ emissions become increasingly important, ATI will be underlining its relationship with ECM (Engine Control and Monitoring) by showing the new mini-PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement System) from ECM. Designed for two and four wheel applications, the mini-PEMS system compact enough to fit inside a rucksack. ATI will also highlight its close relationship with CAN interface specialist Kvaser AB by incorporating several of that company’s new products into a sub-booth within the main ATI stand.

“Our relationships with our technical partners go well beyond simply recommending and distributing their products,” said Knivett. “For example, both ECM and Kvaser products integrate seamlessly into ATI’s VISION calibration and data acquisition software suite to provide significant value add for customers”
